Linux FTW! though I'm not a huge fan of KDE.

I've got ubuntu on my desktop (with awesomeWM) and also an ubuntu file server with 128MB RAM that doesn't run X11 :P

Anyway, have fun with your server & Linux. Personally I think it's way better than Windows the only problem being alot of programs I use won't run in wine.

So ah, can we query the server? You know, send our love to your localwhore, I mean host

KDE sucks by the way, gnome/nautilus for life!

Not sure why everyone is hating on KDE. Although I do find Gnome to be slightly faster. Probably because it lacks some of the aesthetic flair.

Yeah I was in it yesterday to set up the repos and such. His router was being a douche blocking my shit. Reverse SSH is so damn useful

Also Gnome sucks although some of the apps that come with it are nice(file-roller for example) but I can't stand nautilus.

Sweet. :) I just downloaded a few pre-installed linux VMs yesterday for something to play with when I get bored (I want to get familiar with the shell commands). I spent about 6 hours playing with tools and trying to config IPFW to allow ssh from my Windows host (putty) on FreeBSD.

BTW, Hamachi and VMWare hate each other's guts.
