Namco Museum ps1 with ASCII

Post by Bl@ck Ph@ntom »

Does anyone here like the idea behind the N.M.(Namco Museum) on the ps1, were you had a giant museum to look around at. I was thinking of doing something like it but with ASCII graphics. I would have a few Ascii games of different genera, and each game would have some stuff about it like how long it took to make, # of lines of code, developer interviews, ect. What I want to ask is do you think this is a good idea and do you have any ideas to make it better?

Sounds pretty cool, I've got nothing to add though...

Sounds like a good idea to practise your skills. Don't go overboard though or you'll never get to actual full graphics games.

I know the basic of programing in graphics with SDL but for now I want to focus on making projects that expand my capability's in the core c++
