That looks really cool joe. It looks like you're doing just fine developing on your own right now, but I wonder if there's anyone else you could team up with that could contribute. Leading a team just takes practice.

I'd follow your gut. Do you want to work with other people or get others involved? If so then go for it. If you're considering it just because "that's what people do as projects get bigger" then I wouldn't bother.

joe, that looks fucking amazing. I have one tiny little suggestion: make the health bar a little more prominent. Even though people want to focus on the game, their health is a big part of the game so it should be easy for them to see their current health.

I could go ranting about the awesome, but I simply don't have the words. Great job.
Quit procrastinating and make something awesome.

I've been playing your game Joe Van Sickle, and I love it. Sure you need to update the download xD, and the game runs slow connected to your server, but I'm sure this is something you'll fix. I can't attack anything, but they certainly have no problem killing me at this point.

dandymcgee, GyroVorbis, EccentricDuck: :) Thanks guys.
Ginto8: Well said, I will do just that.
MadPumpkin: Awesome, I'm happy it worked! The download link should contain everything in the video. Did you have a short-sword equipped? It's the only weapon that actually dose something right now. The server was up for 2 days when you logged on (I believe...) and is a vat of lard with an ethernet cable coming out of it.

I'll start up a thread for my next update...

I'm currently creating a maze/puzzle 2D with C++ and SFML, here's a timelapse of me coding player movement and pushing rocks. Should start working on level editor and player sprite. All graphics you see in the game are original

I'm working on a 2D RPG called Dawn. It's written in C++ and uses SDL, OpenGL and Lua.
