Johnny Depp is good. I like his Jack Sparrow probably the best.
Robin Williams is hilarious.
Jackie Chan is great, but the best martial artist would have to go to Bruce Lee. =)

I like Tom Cruise's older stuff (Top Gun in particular), but not as much his newer stuff.

Gotta add Mel Gibson. Loved him in Lethal Weapon and the Patriot

I love Ryan Gosling. I find him extremely attractive and talented. And my new fav is Neil Patrick Harris! Amazing acting!

It's funny how a thread resurrected from 2005 attracted so much attention.

By the way, one actor that has played some great characters and I realized just now is Gary Oldman. The list of characters (those I remember at the moment):

• Dracula, by Bram Stoker.
• Beethoven, on Immortal Beloved.
• Mason Verger, on the Hannibal series (surprise, surprise, surprise).
• And, why not, Sirius Black.

Generaly, if he is on the cast, the film is good.
