I enjoyed the movie for the most part. Like most of the movies it is more of a companion to the books than a standalone film. I didn't like some of the changes that just seemed like they changed them for the sake of changing them. I also didn't like the lack of Harry obsessing over both Draco and the Half-Blood Prince the way he did in the book. He seemed almost impartial in the film. One thing I really did like was the performance of Draco though. In the previous films he seemed really blah and more like a punk than I rival to Harry Potter. But here he really takes it up a notch and the conflict within him shows great on screen, much better than in the text in my mind. If this is the greatest Harry Potter film yet is debatable, but it is definitely a good one.

Agreed. I'll need to see it at least 3 more times before I can make that decision.

I'll almost certainly like it better when I see it in IMAX, especially the quidditch and cave scenes. But the real test for me is how it holds up in my living room in a few months.

Excited much?

Seriously though, the movie was fun... a bit too romantic but fun to watch
