I don't get it, what's so bad about code blocks? Sure, it uses mingw, but so what?

The problem isn't Code::Blocks being bad, it's that there are infinitely better IDEs out there which will drastically improve your coding efficiency with their excellent debuggers.

Have you ever tried to run it on OSX? It's a nightmare. The "multi platform" part was the only thing that appealed to me and it really failed, so I didn't bother...
