Lmao, I definitely don't remember smoking crack right before I said that but I clearly did. It was meant as more of a point that the game is indeed graphically intensive, not just your average web browser game. Obviously there are no OS->LaunchBSOD() calls in Minecraft's code.

That's a function I wish was included in the Win32 API!

The irritating thing is that there actually isn't! The only way you can really launch BSOD in C++ (I've found) is to write a crap driver to deliberately crash the OS and its hardware.

Or, just allocate a shitload of memory for no good reason and the system simply crashes and reboots.

Not anymore.. Windows will just kill the process and carry on.

Aww snap well it went up in price. And I remember notch saying now if you buy it you won't get the final release for free. Although he keeps going back and forth on that.

What why would I pay for beta and release? Notch is too off and on about some things :P

Actually what he means if you read is blog post is that if you buy it before beta you will get all updates up to and after the final release such as expansions, patches, etc. But if you buy during beta you will only get those things up to the release (including the release itself)

Hope I could help,

Yeah, Minecraft is pretty legit, I've been playing it the past few days and I love it. I want to try out the multiplayer soon though :O
