Battlefield 1943

Post by ZachO »

Battlefield 1943 is a first person shooter available on the Xbox 360 and PS3 and TBA for the PC. It is set it WW2 and has 3 classes for players to choose from, Scout (Sniper), Infantryman(self explanatory), and Rifleman(Again self explanatory). There are also 4 different types of vehicles such as fighting aircraft, landing craft (boat), jeep, and the oh so hated tank(Ugh).

The game is great fun and includes 4 different maps to play on, but they get repetitive except for the one used in the game type air superiority, "Coral Sea," which is the only map that isn't focused on being on an island. Otherwise it's just pure chaos with sprawling enemies and a cartoon art style that will keep you entertained for hours on end. That is if you can be satisfied with no single player mode, which is disappointing, but you get over it while your blowing up tanks and being a kamikaze suicide bombing everyone in multi-player.

For only $15 and a 5 minute download from xbl or psn, you can be frolicking on the Island of Iwo Jima as aircraft and/or the occasional jeep are falling from the sky, and if you have spare change burning a hole in your pocket, than this is a great title to blow it on!!!111!!1!one
