Awesome, cheers for all the help Maurader, you're great inspiration lol.

I'm taking a break from messing with the game for a few days, trying to let all the new information sink in a bit as well as it wrecking my head at times too.

I messed around looking at lazyfoo's sdl tutorials to see what I can look forward to but I plan on getting back to work on my game again in a few days.

Mar just misses his old MUD engine, it's pure nostalgia. 8-)

Aside from that he just has this strange eagerness to help everyone out.

Yeah prettymuch. That and you think about what you're told instead of just pasting it and then being like "OMG IT DONT WORKS!"
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.

Thats the best way to learn.

Theres been plenty of times in the past where I've just accepted being told how to do something instead of taking in what I'm being told and adding it in myself.

So far now with my game, I can honestly say I understand each and every line of code in it and I'm getting to the point now where when I'm reading example code in my books I can understand what the program does before the book explains it :D

For clarity: This means that when I help you I don't get annoyed which makes me more liable to help you again :P
