The White - Storm: Lightning Game Engine

Post by THe Floating Brain »

Good day,
I am very pleased to announce that I have released my biggest piece of software, ever the White - Storm: Lightning game engine. Before going in to detail though, I would like to thank everyone on this forum for their help in making this possible! Without any further ado here is the link:

I hope to have tutorials on how to use this up within the week!

I would love if anyone here would give it a try!
I will warn you about the source code though, the engine development itself was largely a learning experience and hence it has "learning experience code".
Some of which, mainly: collision (bounding boxes work, they are a temporary replacement for "Scan Areas") and vector graphics at the moment is not functional.

I'd love to hear all of your opinions!

Thank you for reading!

P.s I hope to have a toolkit for the engine soon.

-----UPDATE-----

I have released the third "release" v 0.0.2 and it is now on GitHub if anyone wants to take a look,
I have had some technical difficulties with the videos, for some reason they are being saturated.

Here is a link to the GitHub:

Also I have been working on a toolkit, it is still in progress.

-----NEW UPDATE-----

Tutorials have now been released! Watch them on the videos page!
