Buh-Bye, Windows Vista!

Post by ParticleGames »

The main computer I use just got upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. This is arguably one of the best days of my life. When my computer had Vista, it would crash half the time after startup. I couldn't get any sort of crap done on any projects. Today I realized what sort of hell I was going through with Vista. Long live Windows 7! :)

EDIT: I also got an amazing new graphics card, and Photoshop comes in 2 days :)

I really don't get how people's vista installations fuck up. I'm still using my Vista x64 and it runs better than Win 7 memory wise for some reason.
I have never experienced any crashes (except for when i cause them *cough* wrong micro-controller COM port *cough*).

Am i just lucky or something? lol

But more of the reason is that i love my linux installation better than crappy windows so i hardly use it (though its personal preference) and mac = NO!

I completely skipped Vista and went straight to 7. 7 is a dream.

Same here. High five for making smart choices. Also.. I got 7 free from school, no way in hell was I paying that much for Vista.
