code-snippets sub-forum

Random irrelevance that just didn't fit into other forums. Talk about anything.

code-snippets sub-forum

Post by short »

I was looking for the code-snippets sub-forum. Did it disappear, perhaps in preparation for the new site? Did I miss an announcement? Am I blind and it's right in front of my face??

You've stumbled onto something here. I too wonder where it has ventured.

...wait. People actually used that forum?

Oh, shit... It might have accidentally gotten merged with the rest of Programming while the forums were being cleaned. I had nothing to do with it.

*looks sketchy*

Really? The logs say otherwise.

Code: Select all

Unfortunately this isn't an easily reversible change.

Well... I would tell you all to fuck off and go to hell, because these are my boards...

But dandymcgee has paid for the last couple months of hosting and has graciously also switched webhosts. So I'll have to keep my trap shut.

Lol, no big deal really. The merge didn't lose us any posts, just made them a bit harder to locate as snippets. We can however recreate this subforum if there is enough interest in it. It didn't seem to be used all that often.

I, for one, assumed there would be something of the equivalence on the "new site" and am content waiting.

I'm super stoked :)

edit: RyanPidgeon, weird we have the same post count.... lol
