My Dad told me a story from when he used to work with hardware (he was an electrical engineer). Apparently, he got the nickname "sparky" because he reached into a piece of equipment with a screwdriver and there was enough energy stored up it arc-welded the screwdriver and the equipment together.

I'm lucky he wasn't the one shocked, otherwise I might not be here :cry:

Yeah, I was taking the film out of a disposable camera and the capacitor that stores the flash charge shocked me. It was nowhere as bad as when I was 4 and put a screwdriver up to a live wire in a outlet. Plastic handles and breakers save lives.
