I got a chance to look at this last night. Looks damn good so far, but can you post a version on a lighter background? 50% gray maybe? As it is your model bleeds into the black and makes it hard to get a good look at its silhouette.
You posted a lot of cool link for spriters. Got any good ones for texturing? I’ve been trying to texture my revenant for some time but It’s not going well.

Yeah ive been in the pixel scene for a while, unfortunately in terms of 3d I haven't spent nearly as much time. For texturing I use roadkill (it's free :D), as I feel it deficates on any other UVW tools i've seen but thats about it in terms of help I can offer sorry, then for putting the actual textures together it's photoshop along with trial and error.

Here's the zombie with a run animation, sorry I rendered it without reading your post so it's still a black background I'm afraid.

"The standard zombie shuffles along at 0.4 meters a second."

And knowing is half the battle.

Seriously though awesome work and I'm looking forward to seeing some more. I really want to get back into my 3D projects after seeing these but I'm not going to let myself get sidetracked from my flash animation when I'm so close to being done. After that I will pick up some of my old 3D and finish that,

His motions seem stiffer than everyone elses'.
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.

The stiff motion was half intended, and half, 'if i move his arms on the wrong angle (because i rigged him rather poorly) they will look all speghettified'. I really should have taken a bit more time.

Thanks, if I find the time and can sort through all my files I might post up some more... Not till after exams though, so probably have to wait a couple of weeks. Then it's on to making my first 3d game engine + a game for it. :P
will be using OpenGL and C++, expect something awesomely crap! Though if I have the time and skills (unlikely in both regards) I might try and add some CG shader effects.

Dude I was looking at your avatar, I was like something looks different about it, then I noticed the animation and it freaked me out... How long has it been animated, was it always like that???

I'm pretty sure it's always been like that. When he first showed up and I was looking over his work something on the edge of my vision by the avatars kept bugging me. I had to stop and watch the thing to see it was animated.

Yep it's always been like that since I got on this particular forum, although I did sneak in the animation on this and a couple of avatars elsewhere. It's good for catching people posting late off gaurd.
