Proposing Punishment of xb_forlife

I, Grizious, moderator of the General/Off topic, Programming Discussion, General Gaming, Reviews, and Science/Technology forums, have recently observed some profound behavior coming from xb_forlife. Not only has he disobeyed rules in many-a-way, but he disrespects Admins and Moderators, and ignores warnings.

I feel that this behavior should not go unpunished. I propose he have avatar, signature, and PM privileges taken away until he shapes up. I realize I am not of the authority to do so, so I am asking Admins to please take into consideration the immaturity and bad behavior coming from xb_forlife, and somehow give punishment.

Maybe we shouldn't be so hard on him. It's obvious he hasn't gotten use to how you're supposed to act on the internet, and we ought to give him some time. I acted like a complete idiot when I first used forums, but I eventually learned the proper ettiquite. But it's not my decision, I'm just adding my two cents.

I dunno, maybe you should punish him, but something more lenient, like just taking his avatar and signature.

The fact that I have send multiple PM's to him should be enough to show him how to act. He has been warned many times. I still think that the full three should be taken away: avatar, sig, PMs.

I by no means mean anything permanent, just take them away until he shapes up. Once that happens, give them all back and hope he stays good.

But, that is up to the admins to decide.

Me? No. Admins? Yes.

Every time you goto the forums, you will see a screen that says, "YOU'VE BEEN BANNED." You can never enter them again.

However, we are not talking about blocking you, we are talking about taking away your avatar, your signature, and your ability to private message people. Not forever, however.

This is why I hate giving idiot kids power privileges. They go powerhungry. This is why you guys need an admin thread--keep punishments discreet, and only talk about it among admins. Ban him, do whatever, but PM him and admins only. Really, this is all such a childish power trip.
