I'm not a big fan of FF7 but goddamn this is a spectacular achievement brought to you by those Chinese bootleggers! The story stays pretty true to the source material and I'd say with the patch mentioned below it rivals the other 3 Final Fantasy games on the system.

If you want to play it for yourself here's the best English patch (it fixes a lot of things wrong with the original) for the Chinese ROM: http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/1657/

The ROM itself is 2 Megabytes(huge)! And from what I have read it uses a custom made pirate mapper to address that much memory.
