What r different types of modem available from BSNL for broadband? I want to buy it from BSNL only. I could not find details about them on bsnl site. So u please tell What r different types of modem available from BSNL for broadband? what is meant by type 1, type 2,type 3 and type 4 modem? what r the differences among them ? which type of modem suits my pc ( note -: i want to have broadband through ethernet port) in other words which type of modem is made for what type of pc?

There are 4 types of modem available of BSNL Broadband. It all depends on you what kind of modem u want.Functionality is all same. When ull fill the broadband application form there wud be details of all modems. Like type 1 has 1 Ethernet port n 1 USB, type 2 has i think 2 Ethernet ports and 2 usb ports, and same difference u wud find in Type 3 and 4. And yes i think type 4 of wireless. If u just want for home use den TYPE 1 is d best ,it costs around 1200 bucks and has 1 Ethernet and 1 USB port. I'd d same one.
