Yeah, this is technology is pretty fresh. Google maps still shows a bank on the corner by my house that was demolished ~2 years ago.

Also, this convention was just down the street from me here in the LBC :D

I'm not sure how it works now, but I can imagine some kind of client that would let users see video feed from people in their network. The feed could easily come from a cell phone camera... Crazy stuff dudes.

Ugh, you bastard, whenever I get linked to TED I seem to lose 5 hours of my time.

Pretty awesome demo, though. Definitely something that could overpower Google Maps.
