The EvoGrid: The Evolution Technology Grid

A really cool article I found while browsing MSNBC. Basically, some guys are trying to recreate the primordial soup on a system of computers to 'see what happens'. Really cool for people like me who love biology and technology.

Artificial Evolution simulations are really cool. I hope this project goes somewhere.

Yeah, I love stuff like this. The only thing that I don't find likely is the whole "We will scan the digital creatures then put them they will pop out on the other side as a real lifeform!" Creating life in a test tube just isn't possible yet.
