I thought that the ice on Ganymede was pretty badass. So there is water there?

Apparrently. But, I have also heard that all the water on ganymede is contaminated or otherwise unusable. (contrary to the caption that states it is partially clean, and partially contaminated) It also could be that the water has chemicals that are not visible to the naked eye (or lens of a camera/telscope) or that the water isn't water at all but a different (possibly undiscovered) liquid that we assume to be water.
