Falco, awesome purchases. I really wish I had the chance to experience the Dreamcast (a friend of mine has one, but I've never actually used it). I was a loser and bought a Gamecube (Super Monkey Ball 2 :3).

My shit all came in the mail yesterday! That's pretty fast shipment from Japan.

The guy even resealed everything, so it looked like I had brand new copies for my collection... of course I had to open them in my excitement...

Of course you did. Better to enjoy them than have them factory sealed and valuable IMO.

I've decided that I very much agree. It's not like I plan to resell these for a profit... I'm the video game collector who wants to enjoy them, not a salesman.

I have to admit that I've never played this for more than a few hours... The time has come to actually beat it. :)

Go for it Falco - I played it when I was a kid (in the late 90's), I was mesmerised, the Gnostic concept of a 'light' and 'dark' world, the story..and the music..ohh the music
Sometimes when Ive had a few pints, I find myself humming a few old game tunes, Mario is one, zelda is always the other.

Have a blast!

Omg im super jelly man! I cant wait until im making "big dick player money" :(.

I dont know if you accept suggestions or not, but i have a series i think you should check out if you havent. Its a JRPG series called shin megami tensei: persona (there are other series besides "persona" like devil survivor, but i like persona the best personally). There are currently 4 persona games on multiple consoles (PS1, PS2, and remakes of the PS1's versions on PSP). The PS1 versions are the hardest to get, and they can run for a pretty penny (i've seen some persona 1 copies go for $100-$200).

I suggest Persona 3, its easy to find, and its probably the best one :D.

That's THE hardest game I've ever played.

Being a hardcore Zelda fan it's most embarrassing to admit it took me nearly 4 months to finish it.

Alright, it's that time again, folks! PAYDAY!

Since I just dropped $130 on a Sega Master and a bunch of games/accessories the other day, this week's purchase just had to be for the Sega Master System. I've been itching to buy two games, so I finally have.

The first game is the original Phantasy Star. This now completes my collection. I have Phantasy Star 2, 3, and 4 for the Sega Genesis, Phantasy Star Online V1 and V2 for the Dreamcast, and Phantasy Star Universe for PS2. PS was Sega's answer to the RPG genre, and the series is definitely on-par with the classic Final Fantasies and Dragon Quests. I'm really excited to play an RPG on the SMS.

The second game is Golvellius, which is apparently Sega's answer to Zelda. After talking to Trufun, I just couldn't resist picking this up as well.

Sweet shit, I'll definitely have to check that out. Sounds like something Kendall would probably like too.

I do tend to enjoy JRPGs, maybe more than any other genre, so yeah. Totes lookin' forward to picking that one up!
