Played it yesterday for like a whole day - oh god, I felt sooo unproductive >:
But the game is great and has an awful lot of content :mrgreen: (I mean, really,really an awful lot)

Seriously, this game has robbed me of ~20 dev hours. It's that good. It has that perfect mix of creative freedom and RPG addiction (finding epic loot, discovering hidden locations, etc.).

After reading all these great replies I figured what the hell, I'll spend $10 to check it out.

Terraria is SO much fun. It's a great 2D adventure with some decent art and spriting and a ton of exploration to do.

Maybe we should start an ES Hamachi network?

The game really is nothing like Minecraft. OK, so you can dig and build in both games. There is definitely that overlap, but Terraria a loot-centric RPG complete with BOSSES. Minecraft encourages more creativity and focuses on the sheer joy of building things.
