EVERYTHING: 10/10

The sounds are amazingly well produced, voices excellently cast, and the music is epic and awe inspiring. The graphics are stylized, awesome, and bring back fond memories of 300. The framerate's smooth even with this, and the visual effects (blur, bumpmapping, etc etc) sometimes make you forget you're playing this on a PS2, much less a last generation system. The story is excellent, once again wholly original and it drives an insanely gripping plot even further. The characters themselves are creatures you can get attached to with ease, even though they're pieces of mythology you've heard all your life. The gameplay...well it's perfect. It's perfect (for its genre) in every single way. Just really, really challenging, which is personally fine with me.

This game deserves not just 10, but 20/10. It's overperfect, overdue, and overly awesome. For the love of god, I bought a PS2 just for this game, you should too.
