Love all the people
Love all the people - Bill hicks Okay so it's not a game or a piece of hardware (well it kinda is...it comes as a hardcover :) ). It's a posthumous release comprised of interviews and material Hicks did back in the day (1980-1994), the forward (written by John Lahr) is extremely interesting (coverin...

Mom was probably using scare tactics to get her kid to do his homework. She was probably confused as hell when she went back out to get it and it was gone.
I can totally see that happening

Re: Wierd Error
you're crashing in a library that doesn't have debug symbols, you should look at the call stack to see the last place execution took place in your code.
That should give you an idea of what went wrong.

Re: Lua and c++ co-routines
it was done with co-routines. At the end of every iteration in the loop (in the script) it calls a yield function which returns control back to the C++ side of things.

Re: What keeps you motivated? :]
Problem solving! It's my drug. And although I do have times when I'm doing other stuff, whether it's learning a language or reading manga, I always end up coming up with an idea for the problem I've been working on, and come back to coding. I put on some awesome music and code away! same here. I al...

Re: ETA on ch. 18
Yeah, there's still no way around that. When I add a .cpp file to the Engine/LibGyro, I still have to add them to the XCode/VS projects. There's also a super ultimate 1337 set of makefiles developed by M_D_K and me that scans for all the directories and is able to build LibGyro/ES for Linux, Dreamc...

Re: Where can I learn the basics of circuitry online?
To sum up my dilemma: my digital electronics teacher expects us to know the basics of circuitry. Things like Ohm's law, finding the resistance total, laws of circuit theory and Kirchhoff's Current Law, just to name a few. He sped through the powerpoint and whenever I asked for help, he would just p...

Re: 5 AMERICAN DOLLARS CONTEST! eatcomics, this is mandatory
From left to right it's the most detailed ascii panoramic of a mountain side village on one line ;) Starts off with part of a buildig, when then opens into a mountain view (lots of peaks). Then you see more of the village buildings some overlaying others; and lastly, the start of a forest. so to sum...
