Oh, come on. I've been away from these boards for a long time, but nothing new here?
I've started a bit more seriously with Finnish since last time and I've learned most of the Arabic script and some Persian.
I also found eight dictionaries for only about 5 € recently. :D

:p ––– Christmas was kind to my linguistic interests! This should make sure that I procrastinate Greek less (yes; the grey book is about ancient Greek, though, but that's interesting too)! http://i375.photobucket.com/albums/oo191/Skomakarn/julaboekr.jpg LOOOOL du är svensk Så är det! Thank you both! I guess I can't play your game, Inlinevoid? It's only for Windows, if I'm not mistaken, eh? Either way, I'm going to watch the timelapse. I love that kind of stuff. I love that cloud that follows the character around! EDIT: I've watched it now. You have some nice Photoshop techniques...

Oh. Sorry. Didn't see that there was a collective thread for this. I made a separate thread for my entry. Feel free to merge it with this thread, then, if you want to, administrators.

Re: How many interfaces is too many interfaces?
I'm going to have to agree with qp... The only reason you've given for liking inheritance is because you don't like the extra level of composition. With that same philosophy, you could argue against ANY compositions of objects... Something with a collider becomes a collidable . Something with a tri...

Re: Bottoms Up! [iOS & PC] – IGF competitor
(Windows 7 x64 System)++ ;) Yay! The game is polished, has a great story, and is tons of fun. This is something I would pay for. Great work man! Thanks! Lots of more polishing still to do, and nine more parts of the story to add. Will probably rerecord the voice for the first part too. It was a bit...

Re: How many interfaces is too many interfaces?
@qpHalcy0n: It is indeed a property, but I'm not sure if I like the idea to constantly have to refer to the stuff through a middle-hand handle like boat.transform().setRotation(23) . I have made a game with boat.position().set(8,24) in the past, though, and that's a little bit better. That kind of ...

Re: Bottoms Up! [iOS & PC] – IGF competitor
The demo now works for all Windows 7 (and 8, I suppose) 64 bit users, it seems! It has only been confirmed by two people so far, but none of these could run the demo before, and the same was confirmed for the LD game the other day, so it seems promising! Here's a screenshot of it running natively i...

Hijacking my own thread to point out that we submitted an entry to Ludum Dare 22! Thread is here!
Making this, I think we might have also found the solution to the problem of the game not starting up for some Windows users. Won't give it a try until tomorrow, though.

Vatnsmyrkr – Ludum Dare 22 entry [SUBMARINE!]
Erik and I (the guys working on Bottoms Up! , if you've seen it, collectively known as Royal Railway) decided to join the Ludum Dare 22. We went for the jam (team contest), and thus ended up using more than 30 hours in the end (we jumped on board about 18~19 hours late), but I did get a proper night...

Greek: just barely starting to dabble Hit me up if you want to dabble together (unless it's Ancient Greek that you're dealing with). Swedish: about the same as Greek Hit me up if you want some help. C++: (NATIVE) This is the only language I can speak fluently, I consider it far more elegant than sp...
