Save 10% of every paycheck right into a savings account via direct deposit as an 'oh shit' fund... forget it exists until you need it for something big.

Re: So... guess who is a software engineer?
Oh I hate jobs that only pay monthly... do you get the option to get a percentage of said check tax free the first two weeks into the month? The place I work does that fortunately, I think it's 30% of what the monthly check would be.dandymcgee wrote: Hey, me too! ..Did I mention I get paid monthly? :P

Re: Whatever Happened To Arcade Machines?
Can't wait till I go to college, I will be double majoring in CS and EE. Hopefully, I will gain enough knowledge for me to create an arcade machine from scratch... Well when I say make a MAME arcade cabinet, I mean, create the cabinet or get one through other means, throw in a screen and a PC, and ...

Re: Whatever Happened To Arcade Machines?

Re: Fullscreen problems
First thought that comes to mind is that the application is launching in a resolution that is unsupported by new screen. Is the new screen an actual monitor or a TV? TVs can be picky about what resolution its using. Trying launching the app on your VGA monitor and set the resolution to something sta...

Re: Port forwarding problem, can anyone help?
http://kbserver.netgear.com/kb_web_files/n101145.asp < Check this out, see if that helps. Also, it may be possible that your port is open, but your OS firewall is blocking it still, so you may want to check that out.
