Re: Is SDL for the Wii hardware accelerated?

http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Libwiisprite libwiisprite is hardware accelerated, and you can still do stuff like load PNGs. From what I've seen of it, it's not too difficult to get the hang of (it's a little similar to SDL). SDL Wii isn't complete, and I've heard there are a lot of problems with it at thi...

It's currently really messy, so I'm thinking I'll rewrite a large portion of it so I can use a different approach (currently, the only input handling occurs in the state machine - I want to have an Input Subsystem or somethin...

Re: Basic must haves for SDL game programming

http://www.lazyfoo.net Lazyfoo was a pretty awesome resource for me (and I'm pretty sure many others). It doesn't get into the hardcore details about creating a game, but it gets you started with SDL, including the setup (which is often the most frustrating part). Re: RPGS Past Vs. Present and influences for the future

My video game background basically consists of Final Fantasy. Similar games like Seiken Densetsu, Chrono Trigger, Secrets of Mana, Dragon Quest, etc. were all fun, too. You bumped a nearly two-month-old topic to post irrelevant information when the problem had already been solved? Awesome.

Re: "nD" - Indie Game Development Handheld

The concept is great, but the execution is a little shady.

Just a little, though. I'm sure they'll be able to salvage something. Maybe.

Re: Falco's Biweekly Game Purchases

I've never had a N64   ...Mine was sent off to Korea without my permission D: Falco, awesome purchases. I really wish I had the chance to experience the Dreamcast (a friend of mine has one, but I've never actually used it). I was a loser and bought a Gamecube (Super Monkey Ball 2 :3).

We already know Korea is going to win. Hundreds of people with 300 actions per minute? Convert those into tweets.
