nope it worked fine with f4. I accidentally hit q and it quit out once and when i actually wanted to get out of the game i hit it again haha

I was going to say Chrono Trigger, but remembered that someone already progressed really far into remaking that in 3d. They even had the game engine and first parts down! Unfortunately, Square Enix decided to be assholes and stop the project.... They lost all my respect there. AHHHH plausible govel...
