Definetly enjoyed your game the most, got my vote, although I couldn't get all of the other games to run sadly.
It was really difficult tbh, but I finally beat it [P] FTW!
Edit: How did you do collision? It was nicely done from what I saw.

Re: Pixel art vs. Vector art?
Moosie, do you have a lightboard? You could use that for drawing animation sequences, first sketch and the trace it nicely with ink, scan it all in and drop it into InkScape. You can convert bitmaps to vector graphics in InkScape too if you'd need that. ;) Not sure where to get lightboards where you...

Re: Pixel art vs. Vector art?
Vectors are great for cartoons because they don't require an extensive use of colors/detail, but you can make greatly detailed drawings with vectors with some limitations unless you mix it with bitmaps.

Re: TI MSP430
Probably not anywhere close to what you're doing, but I'm using this http://arduino.cc/ and it's been a lot of fun hooking up all kinds of motors/leds/junk so far.
However I don't get to touch any awesome Assembler with that, I'm stuck on "high"-level programming.

Very cool i wonder how the camera data is processed for the 3D scenery, the only thing i don't like about this is that the player has to bend over the table.. i can't imagine playing it for very long

Re: Spriting characters and such
Pritam, I don't believe I've met you yet? I see you're the new artist, congrats on the position. ;) I figured there was some sort of palette, but as I don't generally need to create graphics above the limits of MSPaint, I've never encountered that before. Thank you and good to meet you ;) i know wh...

I like you sprite Rufus, it looks good.
dandymcgee, yeah there is a palette, you can change it to RGB mode in Photoshop and most likely in The Gimp too.

Zeids links are very good :) pick a tutorial you find interesting and get spriting. You'll learn a lot, not only in pixel art.
