Palin to resign as Alaska governor
Well, Palin can't even finish her first term apparently. And it sounds like she is out of politics for good, so no 2012 Presidential Campaign. Personally, I believe Alaska is better off now.

I believe they are microprocessors. 6800 BASIC was the Altair BASIC that ran on the Motorola 6800, while the 8080 ran on the Altair 8080.Netwatcher wrote:Are these microprocessor architectures? or just numbers that mean something else?Bill Gates wrote:We have written 6800 BASIC, and are writing 8080 APL and 6800 APL

Re: Guild Wars Total Cost?
I believe how it works is that each expansion is it's own standalone game. All you really need is either the original or one expansion to play, but you can only play through that content. Each expansion is like, a new storyline, and therefore you make a whole new character and all of that.

Re: An Open Letter to Hobbyists
Definitely an interesting read. ;) This pretty well sums up why Microsoft's products are so ridiculously difficult to activate and authenticate these days. That's true, haha. But I like to think about it in the way it was then. Bill Gates was a struggling developer. Sure, he was making his impact, ...

An Open Letter to Hobbyists
Way back in 1976 Bill Gates wrote a letter titled "An Open Letter to Hobbyists" that addressed the reproduction of Microsoft's software and how it was effecting him personally. While this may seem like it has nothing to do with software development at all it actually is still very relevant...

I think discouraging trolling and flaming falls under common internet forum etiquette and really shouldn't be viewed as my own personal views.avansc wrote:so you think everything that you are not "for", should be silenced?

I'm all for letting people say what they want. But this thread has gone from a legitimate discussion to trolling and flaming, and I am not all for that.avansc wrote:dont be such a commie. let people say what they want.Kcirtap1990 wrote:O Moderator, Moderator, wherefore art thou Moderator?

Re: Post every time you beat a game.
Just beat Mega Man 2. This game was so much easier than the first Mega Man, but it was also so much better. It really is a beautiful game, and used the NES hardware perfectly to create the right look. Loved it. I think I'm going to try and play the original Legend of Zelda next. I have started that ...

Re: Post every time you beat a game.
I hate to double post, but I just beat Super Mario Bros. 3 again. Usually when I play it I play the Super Mario All-Stars version, but this time I went for the old NES version. I completely forgot the line that Princess Peach says at the game, so I was able to get a nice laugh out of the game too. N...
