Re: Adventures in Game Development

That's really amazing progress, well done. I hate to see ppl bitchin at you guys about not releasing videos when they have no idea how much you've actually got done. Well i'm impressed anyway :) You have no idea. And people wonder why I'm an asshole to subscribers sometimes. It's pretty hard to con...

Re: Windows 7

I'm running Windows 7 now, and everything has been pretty nice. Lots of what pissed me off to no end about Vista is no longer here. I really can't say anything about compatibility, because I don't do anything other than dev/code on my PCs (I'm a console gamer). From that standpoint, 7 is pretty dam...

Re: Falco's MSP430 (and now x86) Assembly Programs

I downloaded a PDF for x86 ASM in June, I think. I haven't used it though.

Goals for 2009/10
-Learn ASM
-Understand these programs
-Kill Mark Overmars.
Good goals

Apparently, if you're a YouTube Partner, you can keep the old channel format: http://www.youtube.com/markcrilley This is no knock against Mark Crilley, he's freakin' awesome, but I find it interesting... ...and no, I'm not over this yet. :P No, they just started there's on October 14th. By the end ...

That doesn't necessarily mean you can't use them, just that you need to put some effort forward to figure out what's screwing up.
I did, and gave up after 2 months...

Re: Free, open-source alternative to Fruity Loops

If you're serious about composing music then I urge you to check out Logic Pro 9. I've yet to upgrade from Logic Pro 8 but the new tools make it well worth the £399 or £159 if you upgrade. If you're a PC-user then get FL. It's amazing and it's cheap and you get free upgrades. I'm more for "a...

Looked it up. Yeah, I'd heard it, but forgot it. It's been a long time since I've listened to that type of music.

Re: Visual Studio 2010 Beta

I didn't like MSVS 2008, because no matter what I did SDL extension libraries would never work, so I don't see my self spending 5 hours downloading this. I can't use Dev-C++ or Code::Blocks because they just stopped compiling my projects all together.

I gave up and just console program now. :(

Re: programmers are racist.

I've never used VB, but I've seen it. It was different, thus it was scared me, and couldn't be good.

...Holy shit, you're right!
