Re: Living on the "Edge®"
If he trademarked the term "The Edge" then I don't see how he's going after "Edge" the game, I see a difference. I don't know how he couldn't have realized that when he attacked an indie game, when infarct his company is about gaming, he wasn't going to piss some people off. Worl...

Re: Exponential Implementation
I don't spend more than 2 hours a week. Not enough time. If you plan on being done all of those projects in the next year you should have at least 1-2 hours a day to work on them. For example I'm working on a decently sized project right now. Even though I'm putting in 6-8 hours a day it's still go...

Re: New Incredible Computer Input
I think you put the link in wrong. When you put the link in between the youtube tags you only add the letters at the end.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOJjazmLM74 The letters in green is what im talking about.

Re: Go Programming Language?
I know Google is trying to take over the world and all but I never thought they would come out with their own programming language. I wouldn't be surprised if "Go" took over as the industry standard some day. I would be. What has Google done that has really caught on? Look at their busine...

Re: Sesame Street: 1337 martian hackers!
Interesting... I used to watch Sesame Street when I was young and I've been told that the Orange and Blue guys (don't even know their names) were always my favorite. Maybe my interest in programming subconsciously came from watching this episode as a kid?

Never knew the Unreal Engine was available to the public. TCoS (http://spellborn.acclaim.com/) uses it and it performs very well.

Nice particle effects. Did you make this from just using OpenGL? Or did you use an API for it?

Really liking the grass, not to sure what the other one is supposed to do. Good job though. You nub, it draws particles... particles are what make all kinds of diferent affects in games, like blood spray... (and I'm joking about the nub part xD) I know it draws particles, it just wasn't doing anyth...

OpenGL tutorials
I decided to leave Allegro and get into OpenGL. So far I've got it set up correctly (I think  ) and I've been browsing google for OpenGL tutorials. I've found a decent amount of tutorials but I'd like to know if any of you have suggestions as to which site I should use to learn OGL. Or, if you...

I don't get it.. What does a 20x15 2D array called Board have to do with calorie intake? Lol this pic was taken when I was a complete noob with allegro so I actually had to visualize the entire process of collision detection. (Looking back at this picture I keep thinking to myself "wow....
