Hey Elysian Shadows and the Chaos Rift community, I have a question about programming. Would anybody be so kind as to give me helpful suggestions on some good programming books for begginers (any language, I'm not fusssy). Thank you in advance.

I really must say I like the GUI, but, you say that you have a Graphics Artist but most of your tiles seem, out of place with each-ther. E.G: The chair and the wall, the chair is detailed and beautiful, but, the wall looks bland and distasteful. Sorry, just my opinion. I hope I didn't offend anyone ...

It's difficult I tell you, (I think I saw that tutorial before, or maybe it was the one with Secret of Mana tiles), anyway, back on topic. It can take many careful hours to get a seamless tile, to tell you the truth i'm a little bit iffy about discussing seamless tiles as quite a few of mine turned ...

2 Hours, damn... Anyway, the second ones lines were far too bold, and the crosshair seemed to dissapear. Try experimenting with different colours to see what works well, I mean, I have a multi-coloured DNA Logo for me and its only bout 8 * 8 but I love it, it's simple yet eye catching.

Paint.net aint bad, i think it's free. Some good programs i've been told to use are Graphics Gale, Paint.net and Adobe Photoshop. My personal fave, Adobe Photoshop CS2. Anyway, back on topic, I do believe I saw him messing around with layers so I don't think hes using the default MS Paint, it looks ...

I like the warning, but I already had it, from my mind ^^, I hate spamming, it clogs up the forums. I hate trolling, it makes me annoyed, etc. etc. ^^ so thanks for the welcome :p
