Anvil Studio is also a free midi editing program, and there's Dr. Petter's Musagi, which is a mixer for making more old-school sounding stuffs.

What blogs/news/comics do you check?
Was just talking to Maevik about the kind of "timewaster" sites we check, thought it'd be better to take a screenshot instead of writing them out.

LazyFoo has a lot more tutorials on various things, I don't think I'm better than he is. :P

Oy @.@
Thanks so much! lol
The SHMUP tutorial is currently getting done, bit by bit, but the written version is already up, if you need. And make sure to check out the LazyFoo tutorials as well, since there's a ton of stuff there as well.

thanx moosader! :worship:  . you should really add this to your 2d map editor book. For sure... You may want to also consider adding deallocation of a dynamic 3D array... haha Oy vey. I did, at one time, have a dynamic 3D array working. But MusuGo uses a 1D array lol. :p (it might use th...

It's the sequel. It's a pretty neat game. Inside levels are side scrolling fighter, plus RPG bits, but the overw...

Re: Gameboy RPGs
Pkmn also counts. :D For some reason, I just really like how simple but fun the GB RPGs can be. Though, due to the small memory size the translations can make the games hard to follow. >> Final Fantasy Adventure (ala Secret of Mana #0) was a really great game (way better than Zelda 1 in my opinion :...

Knowing myself, I'll probably pick it up eventually, but definitely not right away. It's rare that I buy a game brand-new, and usually only for smaller companies (Brutal Legend, Boy and his Blob).
