You can use paint.NET, although Graphics Gale seems more oriented around sprite art, whilst paint.net feels more like a simplified photoshop. My suggestion is to give both a try and figure out which feels the best to you.

OTT- Over the top xD If the game is anything as awesome as the trailer then I suppose it'll be worth buying :lol: it's defiantly not anything like this, company even said. There was a trailer that had actual footage, but its from around 2009 :P would be nice and emotional if it was like the vid tho...

like80ninjas, i also have used game maker. It can be pretty good to start off with, mainly because it has (although loosely) principles of the C\C++ syntax and it also has the concept of classes. And scratchpost, don't worry, everyone here has asked themselves that same question "where do i beg...
