Re: Goodbye controllers? :'(

I can't tell you how pissy I get even nowadays when Wii games like New Super Mario Bros, Kirby's Epic Yarn, and Donkey Kong Country Returns force you to shake the Wiimote for trivial tasks... It's just sooo fucking gimmicky, and it really detracts from the precision of the game as well as my own pe...

Re: The Legend of Neil

Yeah, I agree... Legend of Neil is freaking funny.

[its ok Neil, you just gotta find a way out of this thing] *walks off the screen, appears on the other side* [wait a minute...] *walks off the screen, appears on the other side* "Oh f**k!"

Arduino vs. Parallax Prop.

I know that the 2 are not exactly the same thing, the Arduino is a platform with a microcontroller on it. And, a Para Prop is a microcontroller chip. Which do you use, and why does it own?

Re: What exactly does scritping do?

whatever you want them to do. The whole point of a scripting language is to be able to have game elements (like AI) exist outside of the actual source code. This way, you can have the compiled engine, and just tweak a script here, write a script there, and run the engine, without having to recompil...

Re: F***ing C#, F***ing Microsoft

I'm getting sick of coding in this language and I'm getting tired of XNA... It's like: "I want to do some creative operation or figure out how something works. Let's look it up... only to receive 50000 pages of Microsoft documentation!!!!! that references itself all over the place and starts f...

They have different paradigms usually. So I wouldn't say that C is more difficult to write than C++, it just usually u...
