Re: Creating Original Music for your Games

LMMS (Linux Multimedia Studio) is an open source alternative to FL Studio and is for Linux and Windows. It has a lot of samples that come with the program. I recently discovered LMMS and I think it's great. However, the software did crash sometimes (using Windows XP, SP3), so remember to save often...

I really liked the Chibi Ninja, though I think all the graphics was good. Hope you'll add more in the future. :D

Re: Adventures in Game Dev Video Archive

Great idea! I guess the best way too share it would be using something like megaupload as you suggested. I would love to have the opportunity to watch AIGD-series offline. Let us know what you decide to do as soon as you've done it. :)

Re: Beginner's Guide to Game Programming

I've watch the two first episodes yesterday and ep9 and ep10 today. The videos looks great. I like the way you explain basic concepts, both in game programming, Allegro and SDL. I'm going to watch all the videos and read the text version one day in the future , when I've learned a little more basic ...

Re: Is This Over The Top?

I got: sqrt(395025/(1242^(23-67)))^3 = 4.0454067809900981335180095139205e+212  This problem isn't even feasible WITH a calculator because of the many different ways it can be read. I read it like this: cuberoot of (395025/(1242^23)-67). :P I still think "wtf" would be the correct ans...

Re: Is This Over The Top?

That's the worst spambot check I've ever seen. While it's nearly impossible for the majority of humans to do without finding some sort of tool to assist them, I'm pretty sure I could craft up a spambot in about 3 minutes that would solve any math problem worded like that (provided it's text and not...

Re: Nintendo DS Homebrew: Where to start?

I really have no comment. I'm sorry if I didn't explained myself well enough. The main reason I made this subject was because I wanted to know how I could run homebrew on my Nintendo DS. I got confused because it seem to be so many different cards to buy and I didn't know which one I should buy. Th...

Re: Nintendo DS Homebrew: Where to start?

I have an R4 card (aka R4DS) that I got from an online retailer for like $15 including the microSD card. I don't recall which one, sorry, I pulled the URL from a form post when I was looking for the same sort of thing, myself. Too bad you don't remember. It would be great to get an all-in-one packa...

Nintendo DS Homebrew: Where to start?

I've got an Nintendo DS Lite (firmware v5) and have done some research ( google ) in NDS Homebrew Development. I found many great sites explaining how to get started, but it seems to be many different ways to play homebrew on your DS and I must admit that I'm confused. I'm not going to make my own h...
